Install the MongoDB Cursor Plugin
The MongoDB Cursor Plugin is available in the official Cursor Plugin Marketplace.
Install the MongoDB Plugin from the Cursor Marketplace
To install the MongoDB Cursor Plugin from the Cursor Marketplace:
Open Cursor.
Open the Marketplace (using the command palette or from your Cursor Settings)
Search for MongoDB.
Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
After installing the plugin, you must configure the MCP Server before using any agent skills or functionality that connects to MongoDB.
Install the MongoDB Plugin from Agent
To install the MongoDB Cursor Plugin:
Open Cursor.
Install the plugin:
/add-plugin mongodb Tip
If you don't see MongoDB in the list of available plugins, you can find it using the Browse Marketplace option.
Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
After installing the plugin, you must configure the MCP Server before using any agent skills or functionality that connects to MongoDB.
